We present a two-dimensional optical coherence vibration tomography (2DOCVT) system with an ultra-precision displacement resolution of ~0.1 nm that is capable of in site real-time absolute displacement measurement of structural line vibrations. Experimental results of sinusoidal, sweep and impulse vibrations were reported. The key figures of merit such as the 2DOCVT system could obtain fast line vibration measurement without scanning and it also could be used to capture structural modal parameters in one single impulse excitation measurement without any vibration excitation input information, making it attractive for the application in low-frequency vibration measurement and response-only modal analysis. 相似文献

We prove the endpoint case of a conjecture of Khot and Moshkovitz related to the unique games conjecture, less a small error. Let n ≥ 2. Suppose a subset Ω of n‐dimensional Euclidean space satisfies ?Ω = Ωc and Ω + v = Ωc (up to measure zero sets) for every standard basis vector . For any and for any q ≥ 1, let and let . For any x ∈ ?Ω, let N(x) denote the exterior normal vector at x such that ‖N(x)‖2 = 1. Let . Our main result shows that B has the smallest Gaussian surface area among all such subsets Ω, less a small error: In particular, Standard arguments extend these results to a corresponding weak inequality for noise stability. Removing the factor 6 × 10?9 would prove the endpoint case of the Khot‐Moshkovitz conjecture. Lastly, we prove a Euclidean analogue of the Khot and Moshkovitz conjecture. The full conjecture of Khot and Moshkovitz provides strong evidence for the truth of the unique games conjecture, a central conjecture in theoretical computer science that is closely related to the P versus NP problem. So, our results also provide evidence for the truth of the unique games conjecture. Nevertheless, this paper does not prove any case of the unique games conjecture. 相似文献

Chaetoxanthone D (1), a new tetrahydropyran-substituted xanthone originated from polyketide pathway, together with the four known natural products chaetoxanthone C (2), alternariol methyl ether (3), alternariol (4) and 2,5-dimethyl-7-hydroxychromone (5) was isolated from a strain of Chaetomium murorum. The structures of these compounds were elucidated based on extensive spectroscopic analyses. The effect of substrate temperature and N2/Ar flow ratio on the stoichiometry, structure and hardness of TaNx coatings prepared on (111) Si substrates by DC reactive sputtering was investigated. For the structural, chemical and morphological analysis, X‐ray diffraction (XRD), Auger electron scanning and atomic force microscopy were respectively used. Hardness values of thin films were determined using the work of indentation model from nanoindentation measurements. TaN stoichiometric coatings were obtained for samples deposited at room temperature. The stoichiometric TaN phase was not obtained by increasing the temperature up to 773 K, even when increasing the N2/Ar flow ratio. Even when a saturation in nitrogen content was achieved, nitrogen vacancies are still present in those samples. For coatings prepared at 773 K and low N2/Ar flow ratio, a phase mixture between TaNx and cubic α‐Ta was observed, while a cubic structure δ‐TaN was formed by increasing the N2/Ar flow ratio. A maximum in hardness and (38 GPa) was obtained for the sample deposited at 773 K and a N2/Ar flow ratio of 0.2, which presented a δ‐TaN cubic crystalline structure and a roughness value of 1.6 nm. Microindentation hardness testing was applied to five types of highly-crosslinked ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylenes (UHMWPEs) for total joint replacements. UHMWPE's were crosslinked using the same total radiation dose (75 kGy; γ-radiation) either by the standard, single-step irradiation (one-step crosslinking) or by the newer, several-step irradiation (sequential crosslinking). Each irradiation step was followed by thermal treatment (annealing at 110 °C or remelting at 150 °C) in an inert atmosphere. We showed that: (i) the micromechanical properties were determined by the last thermal treatment step, while the number of irradiation cycles was insignificant and (ii) the values of microhardness, microcreep and microplasticity from the microindentation experiments were in excellent agreement with the changes of UHMWPE structure, characterized by IR and DSC. Statistical evaluation of the results, the agreement with theoretical predictions and the comparison with previous studies on similar systems demonstrated that microindentation was a reliable and sensitive method of UHMWPE characterization. 相似文献

Water barrier properties and tribological performance (hardness and wear behavior) of new hybrid nanocomposites under dry and wet conditions were investigated. The new fabricated hybrid nanocomposite laminates consist of epoxy reinforced with woven and nonwoven tissue glass fibers and two different types of nanoparticles, silica (SiO2) and carbon black nanoparticles (C). These nanoparticles were incorporated into epoxy resin as a single nanoparticle (either SiO2 or C) or combining SiO2 and C nanoparticles simultaneously with different weight fractions. The results showed that addition of carbon nanoparticles with 0.5 and 1 wt% resulted in maximum reduction in water uptake by 28.55% and 21.66%, respectively, as compared with neat glass fiber reinforced epoxy composites. Addition of all studied types and contents of nanoparticles improves hardness in dry and wet conditions over unfilled fiber composites. Under dry conditions, maximum reduction of 47.26% in weight loss was obtained with specimens containing 1 wt% carbon nanoparticles; however, in wet conditions, weight loss was reduced by 17.525% for specimens containing 0.5 wt% carbon nanoparticles as compared with unfilled fiber composites. The hydrogenated amorphous carbon nitride (a‐CNx:H) thin films were synthesized on the SS‐304 substrates using a dense plasma focus device. The a‐CNx:H thin films were synthesized using CH4/N2 admixture gas and 20 focus deposition shots on substrates placed at different distances from the anode top. X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Raman analysis confirmed different C–N bonding in the a‐CNx:H thin films. A decrease in the N/C ratio as well as the sp3/sp2 ratio with an increase in the substrate distance has been observed. The higher amount of C–N formation for the film synthesized at 10 cm is observed which decreases with increasing distance. The X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Raman analysis affirmed the C ≡ N presence in all the thin films synthesized at different distances. The morphology of the synthesized a‐CNx:H thin films showed nanoparticles and nanoparticle clusters formation at the surface. The hardness results showed comparatively lower hardness of the a‐CNx:H thin films due to the presence of C ≡ N. The C–N formation with lower amount of C ≡ N and a higher N/C ratio as well as a higher sp3/sp2 ratio for the films synthesized at 10 cm show reasonably higher hardness. Trigochinins A–C (1–3) are three highly oxygenated daphnane-type diterpenes isolated from Trigonostemon chinensis. Their structures with the absolute configurations were initially assigned by a combination of spectroscopic data, X-ray crystallography (Mo Kα radiation) study and CD analysis.
